Bent Shank Taps

When using automatic tapping machines, the nut being tapped is automatically driven through a bent shank. Therefore, it is possible to make nuts continuously without stopping or reversing the machine.

Straight Shank Tapper Taps

They have same use as bent shank taps, but the tap has a straight shank part.

Nib Taps

Mainly used with tapping machines while tapping nuts with bent shanks or straight shanks. The shanks are joined (usually welded) with the tap.
